A classic American Pale Ale, perfect for sessions
A classic American Pale Ale, perfect for sessions
Brewer:
Deschutes Brewery
Review date:

Serving type:
Bottle
Appearance:
Pours a coppery golden hue with a decent white head that persists.
Aroma:
Ah... The Northwest. Pine and citrusy Cascade hops dominate the nose.
Flavor:
For a lower ABV beer, tons of flavor. Good interplay of biscuity malt and the northwest hops that showed in the aroma. Long dry aftertaste seems to go on forever.
Mouthfeel:
Medium body with crisp carbonation combine well to serve up the balancing malt.
Overall impression:
A truly enjoyable beer, defining the style. Would be a perfect companion to grilled chicken.
